E.V.P. Joni Sweetwood & S.V.P. Robert Squires Handle Exclusive Sale of 16 New Luxury Units

Woodbridge, N.J., February 25, 2025 – The Kislak Company, Inc. announced recent sale of Redwood Apartments, a newly-constructed luxury 16-unit apartment building at 208 Redwood Avenue in Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey for $4,250,000.

Kislak marketed the property on an exclusive basis with executive vice president Joni Sweetwood handling the assignment on behalf of the seller, Redwood Apts., LLC. Senior vice president Robert Squires procured the purchaser, Redwood AMG, LLC.

Redwood Apartments is a new three-story luxury elevator building with 16 spacious market rate units over covered, assigned parking spaces. The apartments consist of two studio/one bath units; six one-bedroom/one bath units; and eight two-bedroom/two bath units with keyless entry, video intercom and access control. Interior unit features include quartz kitchen countertops; Samsung kitchen appliances; GE in-unit washers and dryers; premium bathroom fixtures; and walk-in closets.

Ms. Sweetwood comment, “This was an attractive opportunity for area investors given the quality construction with high-end finishes, market rate units, strong rental market and 30-year PILOT program.”

Mr. Squires added, “The purchaser was eager to add the property to its portfolio given the property’s strong location near the Totowa border. The $265,625 price per unit signifies the strength of the local market for quality apartment buildings.”
