BASKING RIDGE, N.J. – In early 2017, Kislak completed the sale of 111-115 Washington Street in downtown, Paterson, New Jersey.  The 29,000 square-foot 100-year old historic building was Paterson’s original police station.  It is slated for redevelopment by a local developer who intends to build a modern class A office building, with construction scheduled to be completed in 2018.

Sales associate Gino Mazzarella represented both parties in the transaction.  Following Mazzarella’s success, the seller engaged Kislak to market a sizable portfolio of other neighboring buildings.  Mazzarella is marketing the 55,000-square-foot mixed-use portfolio that is comprised of six buildings and a private parking lot located one block off Main Street.

The portfolio includes three historic office buildings and three light industrial buildings.  This site is the original location of the Meyer Brothers department store in Paterson but has since been occupied by a boutique custom furniture manufacturer.  This location is a prime redevelopment site for a savvy investor who is looking to control nearly three quarters of an acre in the heart of Paterson’s vibrant downtown.
